We here at GT have taken actions to ensure the health and safety of our employees and their families, customers, suppliers and business partners above all other considerations. We have taken numerous steps to ensure that we are in compliance with operational recommendations made by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the French and local governments. As a first measure, we reorganized to move as much of our operational and administrative functions online, to allow as many of our office staff members as possible to work from home. In practice, that means that almost our entire office staff is now working safely at home, with full access to our company’s information systems as needed so that we may continue to conduct business as smoothly and productively as possible. The crisis had forced us to temporarily stop production in our French facility for nearly 2 weeks, however we were able to re-open early April albeit with limited capacity, so as to serve the requirements of our customers as best we can through this crisis. We will be operating in full compliance with sanitary health recommendations. Our facilities in China are operating as normal, however the Mexican authorities have ordered all companies to stop their activities until further notice, which has led us to interrupt production in our factory in Matamoros. We hope to reopen our Mexican facility soon, maybe with limited capacity, and in full compliance with sanitary health recommendations, so as to limit the impact for our customers as much as we can. We will, of course, keep you informed as business conditions evolve throughout the coming weeks and months. Thank you all – and stay safe. COVID-19 : la situation au sein du Groupe GT Avec l’épidémie de Coronavirus, le monde doit faire face à une crise importante, et GT prend toute la mesure de la situation. La préoccupation principale de GT est d’assurer en tout premier lieu la santé et la sécurité de ses employés et de leurs familles, de ses clients, de ses fournisseurs et de ses partenaires, en conformité avec les recommandations de l’OMS et du Gouvernement Français. Aussi nos collaborateurs, qui en ont la possibilité, travaillent autant que possible à domicile, avec accès à tous nos systèmes d'entreprise. Vu les circonstances, notre production en France a été temporairement interrompue, avant de réouvrir partiellement début avril, afin de répondre au mieux aux besoins de nos clients, toujours en respectant les recommandations sanitaires en vigueur. Nos sites en Chine continuent à fonctionner normalement, par contre les autorités Mexicaines ont ordonné l’arrêt de toute activité jusqu’à nouvel ordre, ce qui nous a obligé d’interrompre la production dans notre usine à Matamoros. Nous espérons pouvoir redémarrer la production dès que possible, même à capacité réduite, et toujours en respectant les recommandations sanitaires en vigueur, afin de limiter l’impact pour nos clients.
